Cultural activities are an integral part of international education at UNI. The OIE provides a variety of fun and entertaining opportunities for our students to experience everyday life in the midwest.
Here are some of activities we provide
- Coffee Hour | Coffee, cookies and conversations with friends
- Talk Tuesdays | themed conversations with volunteers
- Volunteering at Northeast Iowa Food Bank, the public library and in school classrooms
- Field trips to experience midwest and farm culture
- Regional trips to neighboring states
