Pathway Program

This program is available to students placed in Level IV or Level V of the Intensive English program and who are conditionally admitted to an academic program at UNI.

Additional requirements & information

• Student is enrolled in up to 18 hours of classes
• Student is enrolled in their CIEP course and an additional 3-credit undergraduate or graduate program class
• Credits earned under the Pathway Program are directly transferrable to the requirements of their degree
• Will earn up to nine (9) transferrable credits at completion
• High-Intermediate academic English skill required
• Must pay CIEP tuition per term ($2,650) as well as mandatory fees: such as university fees, health insurance, books, and housing

UNI University Integration

This program is available to high-achieving students seeking assistance with the academic and cultural transition.

• An Independent Study course is offered that has 80 hours per term of lecture/work with an instructor
• Students are also enrolled in credit course classes
• Up to nine (9) transferrable credits per semester
• Advanced academic English skill required
• Must pay CIEP tuition per term ($1,325) as well as mandatory fees: such as university fees, health insurance, books and housing
