Explore campus, engage in activities, and excel towards success as a new international student during your first semester. Led by current students, known as the GPS Student Coordinators, students will attend social and cultural events and activities, such as International Coffee Hour, GPS Retreat, GPS Field Trip, and Day of Service. At our final event, we celebrate semester achievements, recognize group points, and give away prizes!
The goal of the GPS program is to help new international students navigate life at UNI and in the United States. All new international students at UNI are required to participate in the program's activities and events throughout their first semester. A full schedule of semester events will be available at Orientation. The program is led by GPS Student Coordinators who will lead you through Orientation and beyond.
Explore your new world. Engage with your peers and the entire UNI community. Excel at your studies and life.
