International Experience
- I have tutored ESL students from all over the world throughout my educational career! Due to being a TESOL student, I am lucky to have friends all over the world as well. I have also spent time in China, Korea, and Canada for vacations, and am going to visit Ireland this summer!

Why do I enjoy working with international students...
- I enjoy working with international students for so many reasons! I enjoy working with international students because I get to use the methodologies and concepts I've learned for practical reasons and assist students on their learning journey. I also really enjoy being able to learn from international students and to make lasting connections. The United States (especially Iowa) can be pretty insulated, so I think it's really important to interact with people outside of our own cultural groups. Through my interactions with international students, I have the opportunity to exchange information about identities, languages, politics, ideologies, etc. that may not normally be accessible to me, which is so cool!
